How does Dutch literature spread across the world, and what can AI algorithms tell us about it?
The DLBT serves as a gateway to both bibliographies of and about literature in translation, as well as to digitized reception documents concerning translated literature.
As part of the iConTxt project, AI tools were developed for the DLBT, which aim to improve the quality of the data and the accessibility of the information on the one hand, and to generate new insights on the other. In the workshop Małgorzata Dowlaszewicz and Herbert Van Uffelen present iConTxt and the importance of the new AI-developments for the DLBT (dlbt.univie.ac.at) and the website DLIT (dlit.univie.ac.at), where the story of Dutch literature in a transnational context is told.
